EDITOR’S NOTE

When getting to know the Latitude 32 Fitness brand, what stood out to me the most was how inclusive they were. There were older and younger people, people who had grown up playing sports and people who had never worked out before, and everything in between - all in one place.

I wanted to make sure the inclusivity of this environment was communicated through their videos. This meant being thoughtful with my shot selection, showcasing a variety of people working out and feeling their best.

I also wanted to make sure the videos stood out when compared to other gym videos online. After researching other gym edits, I felt that a lot of them were very serious and aggressive in their messaging. I wanted my edits to feel fun, upbeat, and welcoming. I achieved this through quick cuts, the use of various effects, and speed ramps.
